Visitor's Guide
Welcome to LACMA
Help us protect the health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff.

Face Coverings Required
Face covering over nose and mouth must be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking. This is required for all visitors over age 2 and all staff and volunteers.

Maintain Physical Distance
Maintain at least six feet of physical distance from others. Parties of a single household may remain together (6 people or fewer) and children must remain with supervising adults at all times.

Follow One Way Pathways
Please follow one-way traffic paths to enter and exit buildings and galleries to allow physical distancing.

Practice Safe Hand Washing Hygiene
Use hand sanitizer stations located throughout the campus and wash hands frequently.

Oversized Bags Not Permitted
No bags larger than 11” x 14” permitted in the galleries. Bag check is currently closed.

Additional Changes on Campus
Please note the following changes to our campus during our reopening:
New Gallery Guidelines
To reduce gathering and allow physical distancing, exhibition text is now accessible in the galleries via your mobile device and limited wall texts are available. (Look for the QR code as you enter.)
Drawing is no longer allowed in the galleries.
In-Person Programs Are Temporarily Suspended
In-person public programs (tours, talks, film, concerts, art classes or any activity or program that includes a large gathering) have been temporarily suspended until further notice, in line with L.A. County guidelines.
Visit LACMA @ Home for a wide range of free virtual programs.
The LACMA Store Is Open
The LACMA Store at the Resnick Pavilion is open with reduced capacity and physical distancing required in accordance with floor cues. [Add any guidelines] Only accepts credit or debit cards.
Ray’s and LACMA Cafe Are Open
Ray’s is open with advance reservations and outdoor seating only. Outdoor tables have maximum [X] guests and placed with physical distance from other tables. LACMA Café is open and offering a delicious selection of grab-and-go options, snacks, and beverages including wine and beer. LACMA Café is temporarily at the Stark Bar for placing orders and order pickup. Grab-and-go orders can also be made in advance [LINK TO CAFÉ ORDERING PAGE]. Picnicking is allowed in the outdoor areas of our campus, with proper social distancing from other parties.

Purchase Tickets Online
All visitors, including LACMA Members, must purchase or reserve an advance timed-entry ticket online or by calling the LACMA Ticket Office at 323 857-6010, 10 am–5 pm daily. More info.
Members enjoy free admission and discounts on guest tickets.
