Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. This week, join us for a concert with the Tatiana Tate Band.
Trumpeter, artist and composer Tatiana Tate has built a resume that would be the envy of artists three times her age. Tatiana was soloist of the Colburn Conservatory of Music Jazz Workshop Band, soloist of the Arturo Sandoval All-Star Youth Jazz Band, and performer in the 1st annual Grammy Museum Gala along with Boys 2 Men, Kelly Roland, and Smokey Robinson. Other notable performances include Adrian Young and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (Lucy Pearl / A Tribe Called Quest), Jazz In Pink, and the Women in Jazz Festival.
