Enrollment Procedures for Art Camp
- The enrollment dates for Spring Art Camp and Summer Art Camp will be announced soon.
- Art Camp is designed for children ages 6 and older; children ages 5 and under will not be admitted. Students must be the minimum age for their age group by the start of camp.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited; camp does sell out.
- Registration is only available online. Note: account sign-up and login is necessary.
- If you do not have a My LACMA account, set one up and test it prior to registering.
- If you have a My LACMA account, we recommend testing it out by logging in prior to registering.
- L.A. County kids are eligible for discounted pricing through NexGenLA. Please note that NexGenLA enrollment cannot be expedited. We recommend submitting the enrollment form at least three weeks in advance to allow sufficient time for processing.
- Payment is required upon registration.

Information
- Due to construction, art camp will take place outdoors on LACMA's campus.
- Art materials and 30-minute parking validation are included in tuition.
- Art Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am–3 pm, with some exceptions.
- On select weeks, LACMA will offer extended care Monday through Thursday from 3–5 pm for art camp students for an additional fee.
- Students must wear comfortable clothes and shoes (no flip flops or skate shoes).
- A supervised one-hour lunch break is scheduled each day; please pack a nut-free lunch with beverage (no sodas, please) and snack every day.
- If your child has any allergies or special needs, please notify the Art Class Coordinator prior to the Art Camp start date.
- Personal items such as clothing and lunches should be labeled with the student’s name. No toys or games are permitted. We ask that students refrain from using cell phones during camp hours.

Cancellation Policy
A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before camp start date. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to camp start date. Please notify us immediately of any cancellations so that a child on our waitlist can attend camp. Full refunds will only be granted if the program is canceled or for medical reasons.
Parking
The Pritzker Parking Garage is accessible from 6th Street and Ogden Drive. Please bring your parking ticket for free 30-minute parking validation.
Please park and walk your child into the museum’s camp headquarters every day. Also, for the protection of your children, please inform us if you have made arrangements for another parent or caregiver to pick up or drop off your children for Art Camp.

We Live in Art (In-person, Outdoors)
View and compare artworks by ancient and contemporary artists in the exhibitions We Live in Painting, Imagining Black Diasporas, and the Modern Art collection. Mash up ideas from times and places to create your own artworks. Taught by Rosanne Kleinerman.

Children Ages 9–12
5 days: April 14–18 | 10 am–3 pm
Storytelling in Visual Art (In-person, Outdoors)
Explore the exhibitions Imagining Black Diasporas, We Live in Painting, and Ritual Expressions and discover the importance of creating stories through visual art. Use your personal narratives to inform your artwork. Learn different processes including mixed media, bookmaking, and painting with natural pigments. Taught by Eszter Delgado.
