Art & Meditation
- Fri, May 16, 2025
- 10 am - 11 am PT
- Resnick Pavilion | LACMA
Ink painting and calligraphy have a long tradition rooted in meditation. Join educator, meditation instructor, and poet Alicia Vogl Sáenz, manager of family programs at LACMA, in a slow art-looking exercise in conjunction with the exhibition Line, Form, Qi: Calligraphic Art from the Fondation INK Collection, followed by meditation. No meditation experience necessary; instruction will be given.
All education and outreach programs at LACMA are underwritten by the LACMA Education Fund and are supported in part by the Judy and Bernard Briskin Family Foundation, The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, the William Randolph Hearst Endowment Fund for Arts Education, Alfred E.
