Mesoamerican artists used color to map the order of the cosmos, time, and space. Explore the full richness of color at the core of Mesoamerican worldviews with educator Alicia Vogl Sáenz, manager of family programs at LACMA, in a slow art-looking exercise in conjunction with the exhibition We Live in Painting: The Nature of Painting in Mesoamerican Art, followed by meditation.
No meditation experience necessary; instruction will be given.
