LACMA Announces Changes to Hours of Operation Starting July 1

WHAT:     The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) announces new hours of
          operation beginning July 1, 2012. Devised in response to visitor
          patterns, LACMA will open an hour earlier every day, to better
          accommodate the many families and tourists who come to the museum. On
          Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, the museum will also close earlier at
          5 pm. LACMA will continue to offer free admission to all L.A. County
          residents, now from 3 pm until closing time on weekdays.

          Ray’s and Stark Bar will continue to remain open late. For details on

WHEN:     Our new hours, effective July 1, are as follows:
 
Monday:          11 am–5 pm
Tuesday:         11 am–5 pm
Wednesday:       Closed
Thursday:        11 am–5 pm
Friday:          11 am–8 pm
Saturday:        10 am–7 pm
Sunday:          10 am–7 pm

            ID and senior citizens 62+: $10
