Spend your Saturday evenings with world-renowned artists performing everything from Indigenous music to the latest sounds from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Los Angeles! These free concerts are presented Saturday evenings from Memorial Day weekend in May to Labor Day weekend in September.
This week, join us for a concert with Son Mayor.
On the scene for over 25 years, Son Mayor brings a captivating vintage and contemporary Cuban sound. Voted “Best Salsa Band” by the LA Weekly, the veteran group has performed alongside major artists such as Chucho Valdez at the Hollywood Bowl, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Los Van Van, and Ozomatli. Led by the Ortiz brothers – Eddie, Julian, Alfred “El Niño,” and Georgie—the band features a danceable blend of horns, brass, and percussion.
Latin Sounds is free and open to all. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks in all indoor spaces including restrooms.
