Spend your Saturday evenings with world-renowned artists performing everything from Indigenous music to the latest sounds from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Los Angeles! These free concerts are presented Saturday evenings from Memorial Day weekend in May to Labor Day weekend in September.
This week, join us for a concert with Nobresil.
The band Nobresil is sophistication, pure energy and great melodies on stage translating in unique arrangements of samba, bossa nova, Brazilian jazz and world music.
Nobresil features Gold Record awarded singer Mari Nobre and is directed by Brazilian bass player Leo Nobre. Both Mari and Leo Nobre are Latin Grammy certified artists, and were nominated for the American Grammy in 2023 for their participation in Flora Purim’s album “If You Will”. Nobresil is bringing a new wave of innovation in samba and bossa nova audiences by paying tribute to great Brazilian female singers such as Elis Regina, Marisa Monte, and Astrud Gilberto.
Latin Sounds is free and open to all. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks in all indoor spaces including restrooms.
