Summer Art Camp: Experimental Photography and Film (Ages 13–15)

Examine imagery and composition in photographs and learn how to create stop-motion moving images, a double exposure, and a portable camera obscura. Taught by artist Walter Vargas.
This program will take place indoors and outdoors on LACMA's campus, Monday–Friday, July 29–August 2.
LACMA will offer extended care for Art Camp students Monday–Thursday, 3–5 pm, for an additional fee.
Masks are strongly recommended indoors for everyone. Learn more about all of the museum's health and safety protocols.
Full refunds will only be granted if the art class is canceled by LACMA. Please notify us immediately if a student is unable to attend so that another student on our waiting list can attend class. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before class start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to class start date.
