The Art Rental & Sales Gallery
The Art Rental & Sales Gallery (ARSG) is a volunteer-run program of the Art Museum Council at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The ARSG represents a select group of dynamic Southern California-based artists who explore a wide range of styles in paintings, prints, and photographs. The ARSG offers these works for rent or purchase, sponsors an exhibition series, and provides a corporate consulting service. Proceeds from the gallery and the AMC's fundraising activities support LACMA acquisitions, programs, and special exhibitions.
Rental Program
The Rental Program is available exclusively to LACMA members. Work is rented in three-month renewable rental periods with 60 percent of the fee applicable toward purchase. Clients who wish to acquire the work they have rented may do so at any time during the rental period. Monthly fees for rentals range from $17 to $149, plus tax.
Exhibition Series
The Exhibition Series includes six shows of diverse media presented throughout the year. Each exhibition features the work of four artists selected from the gallery or from the Los Angeles art community. An opening reception launches each installation. All works shown through the Exhibition Series are available for rental or purchase. To receive invitations to the ARSG shows, please call 323-857-6500. See the exhibition schedule.
Corporate Consulting Service
The Art Rental & Sales Gallery's Corporate Program offers a convenient and cost-effective way to improve workplace aesthetics without making a major investment. A gallery consultant first meets with interested LACMA members in their private offices and then at the museum. Here works of art are selected and arrangements made for their delivery and installation. The rental period is a minimum of six months. Artwork may be purchased at any time, or returned or renewed at the conclusion of any cycle.
Please call 323-857-6500 to learn more about the Corporate Program and set up an appointment with one of our consultants
Hours
The Art Rental & Sales Gallery is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. For more information, to be placed on the mailing list and receive invitations to openings, or to make an appointment to view our collection, please call 323-857-6500. The gallery also welcomes walk-in visitors.
