Sold Out: Visiting Watts Towers
Get an insider’s look at Watts Towers, one of the city’s most recognizable artworks, hand-built by Italian immigrant Simon Rodia from 1921 to 1954. As part of the partnership between LACMA and the city of Los Angeles, you can take a round-trip guided tour from LACMA to this iconic monument, and back. Meet on the BP Grand Entrance, then depart LACMA on a private mini-coach, accompanied by a Watts Towers educator. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the site and adjacent Watts Towers Art Center. Choose from two tour options—with or without a stop for lunch at nearby Watts Coffeehouse, one of L.A.’s best spots for authentic Southern food.
BP Grand Entrance | Tour only: July 23, August 20 & September 10—$20 general admission; $15 members | Tour + Lunch: July 24, August 21 & September 11—$43 general admission; $38; members | Call the LACMA Box Office to be placed on a waiting list: 323 857-6010.
