Justo Almario Afro-Colombian Ensemble

A native of Colombia, saxophonist and composer, Justo Almario has been fusing Latin, Afro-Cuban, South American, funk and jazz genres for over thirty-five years, working with such legendary artists as Mongo Santamaria, Freddie Hubbard, Cal Tjader, and Jennifer Lopez. Almario's newest ensemble combines jazz elements with the Afro-Colombian rhythms such as Cumbión, Porro, Chandé, Fandango and the best known Cumbia.
