This day-long tour highlights the influential Chicano art collective Asco and features curator-led tours of the exhibition Mapping Another L.A.: The Chicano Art Movement at the Fowler Museum and Asco: Elite of the Obscure, A Retrospective, 1972–1987 at LACMA. Asco artist Willie Herron also gives a short talk at the site of his newly commissioned mural.
