Gallery Discussion: The Art of Looking

Thursday, May 10, 2012 | 12:30 pm

Join museum educators for one-hour facilitated gallery discussions looking in depth at the permanent collection. In May, Sarah Jesse explores modern and contemporary art that transforms viewers into participants. Through engaging with installations by Jesús Rafael Soto and Hélio Oiticica, it becomes clear that while all art must be experienced in order to be appreciated, some beg for more than just visual analysis.
