Spend an exciting week with paint, clay, found objects and more! Campers have adventurous experiences looking at, talking about, and making art with a team of fun and creative museum educators and artists.

Art Camp Information: Art Camp is from 10 am to 3 pm. LACMA does not offer extended care. Art Camp is designed for children ages 6 and older; children ages 5 and under will not be admitted.  Proof of age is required. Campers must pack a lunch and snack every day to eat during supervised breaks.  Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited; camp does sell out.

    Create innovative and one-of-a-kind expressions inspired by LACMA's collection of Modern and Contemporary art. Combine collage, painting, and sculpture to design both two-dimensional as well as three-dimensional artworks. With artist Earnest Merritt.

  • Landscapes and Stories: Experimental Short Film SOLD OUT
    Monday-Friday, July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 2014
    Make a short experimental film in just 5 days! Discover the connections between art and film, explore the museum's collections, and use different artmaking techniques to build miniature sets. Write your own script and experiment with filming techniques, editing, and sound recording to tell a story through moving images. With artist Valentina Mogilevskaya.

Enrollment Procedures for Art Camp
Registration for Summer Art Camp is by mail only; postmarked on or after February 19, 2014.
  Payment (proof of age required) must accompany your enrollment form.  Art materials and parking validation included in tuition. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited; camp does sell out.  Print and complete the Art Camp Enrollment Form.

Art Camp is designed for children ages 6 and older; children ages 5 and under will not be admitted.  Registration will not be available by telephone, email, fax, or in person. Incomplete and early enrollment forms will not be accepted.  Please call the Education Department at 323 857-6512 for more information.

Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will only be granted if the program is cancelled. Please notify us immediately of any cancellations so that a child on our waiting list can attend camp. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be granted for cancellations made three weeks before camp start date. No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to camp start date.
